What is Prolego™?

Prolego™, which means “to predict”, is a proprietary software platform designed to proactively collect, trend, and analyze equipment performance data.

OBJECTIVE: Minimize or eliminate equipment downtime by analyzing performance data/files.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Continuously monitor, track, and trend critical operational parameters (e.g., PWM, Spring Compression readings, etc. for MLCs) – essentially a continuous PMI.
  • Remotely view and analyze equipment performance.
  • Notify engineers of potential operational issues (using hard data) before they occur.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues more effectively.
  • Repair operational issues more quickly (time, resources, etc.).
  • Provide objective data that confirms a repair has improved operational performance to within manufacturer specifications.

OTHER NOTABLE ITEMS::

  • Software is HIPAA compliant and has been reviewed/cleared through the FDA’s 513(g) process.
  • Log files are uploaded during non-treatment times and do not impact machine performance / functionality.
  • Default directories include files are dynalog, hyperterm, and event log files.
  • Allows for historical trending (not just forward looking).
  • Installation takes 5-min and is loaded onto the 4DiTC workstation.
  • All patient related information is stripped prior to being uploaded/saved.

Prolego™ Remote View box provides Web based view of the Linac Console and associated Beam Analog Meters via any Web Browser from any Internet connected location.

Prolego™ Remote View Box Components

Prolego™ captures the linac console monitor feed from the console computer in real time as well as the parallel printer port output of the console computer.

The Remote View Box takes in and splits the VGA in-room monitor feed from the linac console computer, passing one fork through to its VGA out. The other fork is processed by the Remote View Box. Every second, an image is taken from the feed and uploaded over a secure https connection to the Prolego™ servers on AWS, where it is then made available for remote viewing.

When the parallel print input receives a print command from the linac console computer it uploads the result of that command over a secure https connection to the Prolego™ servers on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The Prolego™ solution is designed using the modern Cloud-based SaaS Architecture and Design principles and is built leveraging the highly secure, available and scaleable Amazon Web Services platform. All data communications are encrypted and secure. The AWS-based architecture enables Concept Tapestry to provide run time and data separation for each of its customers.
